RM Compare - Now AWS Qualified Software

AWS Qualified Software status achieved!

We are pleased to confirm that RM Compare has achieved the highly coveted AWS Qualified Software status. We have joined only a handful of UK Edtech companies to do so. Key to this has been the requirement to pass the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR).

The FTR is a risk mitigation process. It provides specific guidelines to adopt a subset of AWS best practices to reduce risks around security, reliability, and operational excellence, as defined by the AWS Well-Architected Framework. 

What this means for you

The learnings acquired have already enabled us to make a number of key improvements to the RM Compare system which is built on the AWS cloud. Specifically, it re-enforces best practices for designing and operating a secure, reliable, efficient, cost-effective and sustainable service for our customers and users.

This work will allow us to continue to develop a world class software solution. In doing so we will be able to deliver more value, even earlier and more frequently without a risk to cost, security or reliability. This will allow us to scale the RM Compare service to further share a brilliant 24/7 online experience to even more people.

RM Compare already provides a high quality online service at all times. The imminent arrival of 'when-ready' assessment through RM Compare On Demand, backed by the AWS Qualified Software standard, will allow us to confidently welcome even more users into the system even more often.
