Connecting things up

Eagle eyed Roadmap followers would have seen reference to RM Compare Connectors. While work is still ongoing, we are able to share some POC's (Proofs of Concept) to communicate some basic principles.

Our Multi-Cohort Accelerator allows establishments to create Parent-Child relationships. This is a key to being able to run large sessions across multiple establishments. Connectors takes this functionality to the next level.

Current functionality requires Parent Establishments (For example a School Group central function) to validate sharing permissions with each Child Establishment (For example an individual school) every time they run a session.

With RM Connectors, Schools can permission (or revoke) data sharing once with trusted parent establishments at any time allowing them to participate in multiple Parent generated sessions (and to link to multiple parent establishments).

The Parent Level

In the example below we can see that Establishment X has an Enterprise License allowing them to run Multi-Cohort sessions. They have made a DataShare request to 3 schools. One of these, Establishment B, has permissioned the connection.

The Child Level

Establishment B has a Basic License. An invitation was received and accepted from Establishment X to connect. Two further invitations have been received from other Parent Establishments.

What next?

We hope to have the first iteration available in the next couple of months. You can find an interactive demo here.
