RM Compare Spring Clean 2024 - new user experience

Welcome to the BIGGEST refresh we have ever undertaken on the RM Compare User Interface. If we have done our job well a lot of it will go un-noticed - you should just find it is easier to get things done.

Taking an iterative approach to RM Compare's progress has been important and valuable. Once downside however has that the overall user experience became quite disjointed.

Our Spring Clean has tidied quite a few things up and has introduced several features which will improve the overall user experience.

There are far too many changes to list in this blog, however you will find a few notable examples below.

Some examples of the improved user experience

We have introduced a more intuitive session creation flow. It is now easier than ever to add Items and Judges, and to select session settings.

We have introduced several new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience. For example, contributing judges can now inspect their uploaded Item in advance of submission.

You will see improved ways to search and filter throughout the system. This will help you to manage you session while it is in progress and on its conclusion.

RM Compare reports have been refreshed in several ways. For example, we have simplified tabulated data and have made them easier to filter.

The RM Compare Product Portal has been fully updated to reflect the changes in the system. You will find new content and an updated layout which we hope will help you to get even more done even faster.
