Understanding Admin Roles

Licence Admins

There are currently just two User Roles in the RM Compare system

  • Admin: A role that can create sessions and can judge
  • Judge: A role that can Judge only

Admin roles are granted through the application of a License Code here - https://app.compare.rm.com/register.

Any limits to the number of Admins available on an account will be described as part of a Plan, Tier and/or Contract.

If the account is already in the system as a Judge it is upgraded to an Admin.

Session Admins

While a License can have multiple Admins, a session can only have one.

The Session Admin cannot currently be changed on a created session.

Managing users and roles

Currently we have not made a License Management role available. This role would for example allow some control over users and roles.
