Our existing Multi-Cohort System Accelerator has facilitated the creation of large sessions by allowing users to work together in session creator and contributor roles across multiple establishments (for example Schools).

We have known for a while that the current process requires quite high levels of effort and co-ordination. The introduction of new Connector functionality (previewed a while ago) overcomes the existing challenges making it easy to run large scale sessions across multiple License Centres.

Connectors allow users to build Parent-Child relationships between License Centres (see below). Currently only License Centres with an Enterprise Plan can be Parents, however all License Centres (Basic, Advanced, Enterprise) can take the Child role.

Scenario

In the diagram above let's take a look at License Centre 11 (LC11) - in this case let's assume this is the HQ of a school group serving 3 schools (LC1, LC2, LC3). HQ has an Enterprise Plan, while the 3 schools are all on a Basic Plan.

The HQ has made a successful connection with 2 of its schools. An Invitation to Connect was sent to all 3 schools, however LC1 has yet to accept. HQ can now run sessions to which they can invite connected schools to participate.

The HQ has also accepted an invitation to connect to LC14, who in this case is a Solution Partner who also has an Enterprise Plan.

BETA testing

General Availability

We are expecting to make add Connector functionality for all users early in 2025. Check back for details.
