We’re pleased to announce that ⏱️RM Compare | NOW is in BETA. It is a lightweight RM Compare experience designed for quick judgements, allowing users to capture or upload an item, compare it to a ready-made standard, and review a score in just a few steps.

In RM Compare terms, that standard is a trusted ranked set of items created in 💻RM Compare | STUDIO and used as a reference point for quick assessment.
This means ⏱️RM Compare | NOW is well suited to situations where speed and accessibility matter. It can be used to capture a quick judgement on the spot, support discussion around standards, or help people understand what comparative judgement looks and feels like in practice. Its mobile-friendly design also makes it useful wherever work is being reviewed away from a desk.
Part of the RM Compare ecosystem
⏱️RM Compare | NOW is not a standalone experiment. It sits alongside 📳RM Compare | LIVE, 🧭RM Compare | HUB and 💻RM Compare | STUDIO as part of a wider assessment ecosystem. In that ecosystem, 💻STUDIO is used to design and run sessions, create new standards and generate rank orders; 🧭HUB governs how those standards are shared and controlled; and 📳LIVE delivers on‑demand assessment against trusted standards at scale.
⏱️NOW gives you a sandbox way into that world. It lets you experience the same underlying idea – assessing work against trusted standards – in a lightweight, ready‑to‑use format, before you decide whether to step up into 📳LIVE, 🧭HUB and 💻STUDIO across your organisation.

Launching in BETA is an important step. Across RM Compare, BETA is not about releasing something unfinished; it is about extending validation, learning from real use, and improving the service quickly and openly as adoption grows. That same mindset sits behind ⏱️RM Compare | NOW.
We expect the BETA period to help us learn more about how people use on-demand judgement, which standards are most useful, and where the experience can be expanded next. The launch version includes a small number of standards, with more expected over time.
