We’re pleased to announce that ⏱️RM Compare | NOW is in BETA. It is a lightweight RM Compare experience designed for quick judgements, allowing users to capture or upload an item, compare it to a ready-made standard, and review a score in just a few steps.

At launch, ⏱️RM Compare | NOW is free to use. Users can assess an item against a pre-built standard and receive a result after just five judgements, making it a fast and practical way to explore the power of comparative judgement.

Simplicity

What makes ⏱️RM Compare | NOW different is its simplicity. Rather than building a new judging session from scratch, users work against a standard that has already been prepared. In RM Compare terms, that standard is a trusted ranked set of items created in 💻RM Compare | STUDIO and used as a reference point for quick assessment.

This means ⏱️RM Compare | NOW is well suited to situations where speed and accessibility matter. It can be used to capture a quick judgement on the spot, support discussion around standards, or help people understand what comparative judgement looks and feels like in practice. Its mobile-friendly design also makes it useful wherever work is being reviewed away from a desk.

We expect the BETA period to help us learn more about how people use on-demand judgement, which standards are most useful, and where the experience can be expanded next. The launch version includes a small number of standards, with more expected over time.
