Multi-Centre Sessions
Multi-centre sessions allow connected Licence Centres to facilitate large scale sessions.
Multi-Centre Sessions join Licence Centres together using Connector technology. In doing so it is possible to run very large sessions effectively and efficiently.
Licence Centre Administrators manage Licence Centres and Connectors. It is important to understand what this involves.
Connecting Licence Centres is a 'one and done' process. Once in place it enables Session Creators to create or contribute to Multi-Cohort sessions.
Understanding Licence Centre Relationships
Licence Centres can form Parent <> Child relationships with other Licence Centres.
- School A (The 'Parent')
- Must have Subscription Licence Plan with Parent permissions - see features and functionality.
- Must have a valid Connector Licence (with or without Datashare) to enable the connection between to the two Licence Centres - see features and functionality.
- School B (The 'Child)
- Can have any type of Licence Subscription Plan (Basic, Advanced, Enterprise)
- Does not need their own Connector Licence.

The following example shows how Session Creators in a Parent Licence Centre can create a Multi-Centre session and invite other connected Licence Centres to contribute. In tis example the two centres are already connected (learn how to connect Centres)
