Can Adaptive Comparative Judgement unlock the curriculum challenge?
There's a lot you can do with RM Compare - we are here to help. Get in touch anytime.
We are working with several Governments on some early-stage projects. It is too early to share details but a common thread is an interest in the OECD challenge around the Future of Education and Skills 2023. This influential project uses the concept of a Learning Compass to "define the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that learners need to fulfil their potential and contribute to the well-being of their communities and the planet".
The model recognises the importance of knowledge to any education system, but also points toward a broader view of competencies to include attitudes, values and skills.
An important understanding at a system level is that they 'treasure what they measure'. We have written before about how Comparative Judgement can support any move toward a more rounded curriculum and in particular how it can meet the assessment washback challenge.
With RM Compare the only limit is your imagination
How can encourage and assess diverse student responses to support our curriculum ambitions?
How can we reduce the burden of the moderation process to reduce teacher workload?
