Licence Centres
The RM Compare system has a multi-tenancy model using Licence Centres
A multi-tenancy model is an architecture where a single instance of a software application serves multiple customers, known as tenants. Each tenant’s data is logically isolated and remains invisible to other tenants, ensuring privacy and security. We call each tenant a Licence Centre.

How Licence Centres work
- Single Instance, Multiple Tenants: All Licence Centres use the same software instance and infrastructure, but their data and configurations are kept separate.
- Logical Separation: Licence Centres have their own dedicated spaces within the system, so their data and settings are not accessible by others
- Shared Resources: Resources like servers, storage, and networking are shared, which enables cost savings and efficient resource utilisation
The Licence Centre Code
All RM Compare Licence Centres have a unique code - it will look something like this: 123ABC-456DEF-789XYZ. This is shared with the Licence Centre Administrator as part of the onboarding process.
The code is used to onboard Session Creators through a simple registration process.
Administration
RM Compare Licences are managed by Licence Centre Administrators.
How Licence Centres can work together
RM Compare DataShare technology allows Licence Centres to connect with each other. By doing this they can work together in Multi-Centre Sessions.
Licence Centres join together with Connectors.
