In some scenarios you may be working collaboratively, for example with other Licence Centres, Licence Centre Admins or Session Admins. To give you more control it is possible to set sessions to private.

We do not recommend using 'Private' when participating in multi-cohort sessions.

It is important to understand the potential impact of setting sessions to private and our recommendation is to use the facility with care.

Why might I use a Private Session?

You may be connected to a Licence Centre that has DataShare capability. This would allow them to view all activity in your Licence Centre, including any sessions you create. In this scenario you may wish to create Private Sessions.

We will make it clear when you are connected to a DataShare empowered Licence Centre . The assumption is that you are not connected in this way as this is not a standard set up at this time. Therefore, it is not likely that you will want to create private sessions.
