Multi-Cohort Session Contributor Guide

How to contribute to Multi-Cohort Sessions

As a Contributor the Multi-Cohort Session Creator will invite you to add Items and Judges to a Base Session. You will receive an email from the RM Compare system when this process starts.

Check out the introductory video to see a short demonstration of the end-to-end process.

Contributing to a Base Session

You will see all the sessions you have been invited to contribute to at the start of the session creation process.

Add Items and Judges to the Base Session

The process of adding Items and Judges is no different to any other session.

You do not have access to several options available to you in a standard session set-up (for example Feedback) as these are owned and managed by the Multi-Cohort Session Creator.

Remember that you are contributing to a session owned and managed by another Establishment. In doing so you are delegating access permissions and will be permitting the Base Session Creator to have access to all of the materials and data (including Judging) submitted by your Establishment.

Handing-In

Once you have added your Items and Judges you are ready to Hand-In. The Session Creator will be notified when this happens.

If you make a mistake, you can 'Hand-back' your contribution, make necessary changes and re-submit. Note that this option is only available in the period before the Session Creator runs the final merged session for judging.

Get ready for Judging

Once your contributions are 'handed-in' your role as a contributor is completed. When ready the Session Creator will run the merged session bringing together all of the Items and Judges from each contributing Establishment. Judges will be notified by email when this happens.
