🧭Shared Standards
Shared Standards
RM Compare | 🧭Hub is where organisations govern, share and maintain standards. It connects the evidence behind a standard with the ranks and rulers that make it reusable across people, teams, licence centres and assessment moments.
Hub sits between RM Compare | 💻Studio, where standards are created, and RM Compare | 📳Live, where standards are used on demand. Together, the three modules help organisations move from one-off assessment sessions to shared standards that can be applied consistently over time.
The shared standards model
Hub supports a simple but powerful sequence:
Repository → Rank → Ruler → Reuse
- A Repository provides the governed evidence base behind a standard.
- A Rank establishes how selected work relates in quality.
- A Ruler makes that quality relationship reusable as a shared standard.
- Live allows new work to be placed against the ruler when needed.
This means a standard can become a long-term organisational asset rather than the temporary output of a single assessment event. RM Compare’s shared-standards approach is based on turning comparative-judgement ranks into reusable rulers that can be applied to new work.
What Hub enables
Hub helps organisations:
- Govern shared standards across teams, licence centres and organisations.
- Control appropriate access to evidence, ranks and rulers.
- Share approved rulers for use in Live.
- Support consistent assessment, moderation and professional judgement.
- Retain the evidence and context that sit behind a shared standard.
- Monitor and maintain standards as needs, cohorts and contexts change.
